For the purpose of properly managing official accounts on social media, Sugi Holdings Co., Ltd. and its group companies (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") have established the below guidelines intended for all employees to follow in order to use social media appropriately and Social Media Policy intended for all users of our social media to understand the operation principle of the Company’s official accounts.
The Company’s goal is to communicate widely through social media and build better relationships with society and our customers.
Social media is a communication means or tool for a large number of unspecified users to transmit or exchange information with one another via the Internet, and it refers to various social networking services (hereinafter referred to as "SNS") such as Facebook, X, and Instagram, as well as blogs and electronic bulletin boards.
The Company will observe the following guidelines when releasing information through social media and aim to communicate with society and various stakeholders and build good relationships with them, no matter what kind of organization we belong to or what type of employment status we have.
1 We will always be aware that information posted on social media can be accessed by a large number of unspecified customers, that any information once posted or data once uploaded will spread throughout the world, and that even if any mistake or error is found, it cannot be completely deleted nor put under control of the person who has made it.
2 We recognize that there are people with a variety of opinions and beliefs, and we always remember to listen attentively to what others say and their opinions.
3 We are fully aware that information posted by a certain individual has a potential impact on the reputation of the Company’s brand, and we will not mislead anyone into thinking that information posted personally represents the brand.
4 We prohibit fakery (stealth marketing or the like), including manipulated discussions and word of mouth on social media, and value corporate transparency.
5 Information like the following will not be released.
6 In the case that any information that violates any of the aforementioned eight items is released, we will acknowledge the error and promptly take corrective measures.
Regarding Our Official Account Operating Policy
1 All information released by the Company on social media, including material on our official social media accounts (hereinafter referred to as "Official Accounts"), does not represent the Company’s official announcements or opinions. For the Company’s official announcements and opinions, please refer to our website and corporate information.
2 The Company is not in the position to answer any technical questions regarding the operational status, software, or applications of any social media platform related to Official Accounts.
3 The Company reserves the right to change these Guidelines without the consent of users.
4 We will read as many comments as possible posted to Official Accounts and use them as reference for the future. Please note that we are unable to respond to all posted comments due to operational reasons.
Please refrain from posting any comments falling under the below categories to Official Accounts:
In the case that the content of a posted comment is applicable to any of those categories, we may delete the comment or restrict its use without prior notice. In such cases, no notice will be given to the posters concerned.
1 Content containing personal information, privacy-related matters, or both
2 Content that discriminates against others based on race, sex, ideology, creed or the like or that promotes discrimination
3 Content contrary to public order and morality
4 Content containing illegal material or obscene expressions
5 Content regarding political and religious activities and election campaigns
6 Content that libels or slanders the Company or a third party or damages their reputation or credibility
7 Content that infringes the copyright, portrait right, trademark right, or other intellectual property right of the Company or a third party
8 Content that significantly deviates from material released on Official Accounts
9 Any other content that the administrator of Official Accounts deems inappropriate
10 Content that seriously impedes the smooth operation of the Company’s accounts
11 Content that is deemed to be in violation of the terms of use of each social media platform
