We dene the skills necessary for employees to acquire internal qualifications or fulfill their responsibilities, and we provide training and human resource development programs to help them acquire such skills. In FY2025, we delivered a total of 350,916 training hours for full-time employees, equivalent to an average of 24.2 training hours per employee. Through these initiatives, we strive to enhance employees’ professional expertise and strengthen organizational capabilities.
We have introduced a personnel system that enables employees to leverage their experience and skills, allowing them to apply for and secure transfers to their preferred department. They can request a transfer to their preferred department or preferred position. If they obtain consent, they can acquire that position. This system aims to encourage career autonomy, skill development, and a healthy sense of competition to revitalize the organization.

Officers and managers receive senior management training and training for new department heads, while store-level positions such as pharmacists, registered dietitians, BAs and medical clerks receive expert training, advanced seminars and basic training for new employees, forming a multi-layered structure that improves skills through the integration of programs, evaluation and education tailored to each individual.
At the end of each fiscal year, we hold an awards ceremony to recognize employees and stores that have achieved outstanding results through actions aligned with our management philosophy. In FY2025, we presented awards to 150 individuals and 40 organizations. Going forward, we will continue to promote a workplace environment in which every single employee can thrive, by fostering a corporate culture that recognizes and celebrates the practice of our philosophy.
